The Happiness of Being Young
No one can truly appreciate the happiness of being young until he or she has experienced it for themselves. What makes a person young for one person might not make another young. If we let go of the perspective of being young and instead look at our present, it may become possible to be more of what we are hoping for.
No one can truly appreciate the happiness of being young until he or she has experienced it for themselves. The fact is that the happiness of being young is the same for all people. What makes a person young for one person might not make another young.
Even so, when the happiness of being young becomes a question to be asked, it is likely that some research needs to be done. One way of getting a feel for what the happiness of being young might be like for a certain individual is to imagine what would their own childhood be like if that person was then given a time machine. What would happen?
Of course, what would the young person have been like in the future? Most people can imagine what would happen if they had grown up in a different era. If we let go of the perspective of being young and instead look at our present, it may become possible to be more of what we are hoping for. Sometimes, the past that we are most familiar with is also the best way to remember what it was like to be young.
How the past may help us become more of who we are today can also be seen from personal data. It may be that it is our own experiences and understanding of who we are that we are now seeking. It might even be the life experiences that we had in the past that are causing us to search for the happiness of being young. In any case, as the experience of being young in the present helps us in knowing the ideal state of being, so too do the experiences of being young in the past bring us closer to knowing what it would be like to have been younger.
It might seem that what would happen if we were born at a particular period of time would give us an idea of what to expect in the future. Of course, this is not the case; but it is possible to gain some insight into the happiness of being young by looking at the people who lived through that period of time. It is interesting to note that the people of those days who were about to enter old age were not happy with their prospects; in fact, they did not seem to know much about the future.
The explanation could be that their lives were uneventful and in no manner exciting. They were uncertain about the future and had not yet created a good concept of the future. The happiness of being young may therefore be something that we can gain by making use of the experience of the young in the past to guide our own search for happiness.
In recent years, many scientists have found evidence that suggests that some people are predisposed to feeling younger than their chronological age. Some experts have even found evidence that shows that women’s hormones change as they grow older.
It might be that happiness is an integral part of the human condition, something that does not change. Some people have the ability to turn life’s experiences into a journey of happiness, while others have difficulty doing so. The truth is that everyone, however well or poorly they are doing, can and will find happiness.
The happiness of being young is that which can be gained by anyone who is looking for the experiences of a young person in his or her own life. Perhaps the true meaning of happiness lies in the feeling of growing up. The search for the happiness of being young may require some effort on the part of the individual, and not an effort that are borne of wishful thinking, but the truth is that a young person would be unhappy if he or she did not try to create the happiness of being young.
The happiness of being young is the one that comes from being able to have the experience of a young person in their own life. This is the experience that most people have been denied and which many never realize existed. By paying attention to the ways in which our lives grow and to the discoveries that are made, we can gain an education in the happiness of being young.
The feeling of the happiness of being young is just as real as the feeling of the happiness of being a teenage person or a middle-aged person. But the feeling of the happiness of being young does not appear to have the same meaning in all situations, and for all people. Those who were in their youth and thus were expected to take a different path as they grew older might find that their happiness of being young does not differ significantly from those who did not experience the happiness of being young.
