The Happiness of Camping
I think the experience of camping has opened my eyes to the happiness of camping. People say it’s not for everyone. Well, when you’re out in nature, you have the chance to just sit back and enjoy nature while at the same time being able to make friends with other people.
I think the experience of camping has opened my eyes to the happiness of camping. People say it’s not for everyone. Well, maybe not for everyone but there is no denying that for me, the experience of camping has been filled with happiness and contentment.
That said, let’s take a closer look at some of the things that I love about camping and see what they have to do with one’s happiness. One of the main reasons why I love it so much is because it is an opportunity to get out of the “I have to work” grind and just be outdoors. It’s not so much the “work” part as much as the “being outdoors” part.
You may be wondering how in the world anyone can be happy spending his or her days in front of a computer doing nothing. Well, when you’re out in nature, you have the chance to just sit back and enjoy nature while at the same time being able to make friends with other people.
The other thing is that people love to talk about themselves. Everyone likes to hear that the kids have had a good time, the dog ran off with a stranger’s chocolate chip cookie or the five-year-old discovered the meaning of life.
These things allow people to connect with each other on a deeper level. That in turn, creates the ability to make new friends that may take them places they wouldn’t have gone on their own.
You also have to be willing to have an experience. That means you have to go without looking at your phone, without worrying about your problems or what you have to do next. You have to fully enjoy being outdoors, even if that’s just being in the sunshine, walking on the beach or eating your lunch on the deck of your camper.
Most people won’t tell you that they really don’t enjoy being out in the wild, but if you ask them, they will admit that they really enjoy a camping trip. A true feeling of contentment. A true sense of joy and happiness.
You want to be able to have a blissful state of mind when you are out in nature. That’s the best way to be happy.
In order to be a happy camper, you need to be able to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If you look around you, what is the first thing you notice?
Nature, if you spend any time out there, is the first thing you notice. Nature brings people together in ways that technology never could.
You need to have a positive relationship with nature. With a focus on nature, you are building a relationship with nature that will enhance your enjoyment of camping.
If you want to become a happy camper, then you need to have the experience. Do yourself a favor and go camping.
