The Motivation of Being a Fighter

The motivation of being a fighter is hard to capture with words. I have often felt that there is something inside me that I need to do but the emotions and fear that come along with it are so overwhelming, that I feel like I cannot stand up. It is an inner conflict that needs to be dealt with to achieve my purpose in life.


The motivation of being a fighter is hard to capture with words. I have often felt that there is something inside me that I need to do but the emotions and fear that come along with it are so overwhelming, that I feel like I cannot stand up. It is an inner conflict that needs to be dealt with to achieve my purpose in life.

My friend said it best “be positive and don’t worry about what you can’t do, only what you can do”. Yes, I agree, for some of us the road to success can be confusing and filled with anxiety, fear and doubt. I have found that with determination and a strong inner voice; I can walk the road that leads to achieving the objectives of my life.

Once I learned the motivation of being a fighter; I found that I could not allow myself to get upset or down about the circumstances in my life. They were my reality and there was nothing I could do about them. So I decided to work my way through them and the result was a life long learning experience. It also taught me to overcome the fears that I felt.

The real question that needs to be asked is: do we continue to search for our inspiration, help or motivation as our life ages or do we continue to seek out the warriors of our past. If you ask me I believe that it is good to keep your lessons and inspiration alive within your life and that’s why I am writing this article. I want you to know the motivation of being a fighter; just in case you might need to meet an opponent or two along the way!

When I was a kid, I was bullied by my classmates as “The Old Jock”. The older kids called me names such as “Thug”Assclown”. Being a fighter, I was determined to stop being labeled as such. I had to find the courage to stand up to them and fight for what I thought was right. It was through this courage that I developed the motivation of being a fighter.

We learn by doing the right things and if we do not do them right then we will do them wrong. If you learn how to respect yourself, then you will gain the respect of others. Respect and confidence build when a person is successful in his or her life. For me I always knew that when I made a choice for my own success, then I would be successful.

It took me many years to learn the lesson of a fighter and the lessons of life, but I did. I was very fortunate to find my passion in life and it gave me the motivation of being a fighter and that was to succeed.

I was lucky enough to find a mentor who helped me realize the reason for my personal goals. His encouragement and support were what I needed to see the light and continue to move forward on the path to success.

Sometimes it takes a while to reach our personal goals and it is better to feel the disappointment of failure before you find the courage to continue on. The motivation of being a fighter was to find the courage to fail and build myself up from the failure. For me the rewards were great, because I had learned how to be a winner and a fighter!

I can remember when I first heard the motivation of being a fighter; it came from my cousin. He told me he had the desire to be a fighter and that he was going to get his strength and his courage from his coach; me.

Remember to be positive and have the courage to try anything. Believe in yourself and know that you are a winner.

In the end, the path that you take to success will show up when you least expect it and that is when you will start to feel that the motivation of being a fighter. You will feel the energy of success and believe that you can do anything. to achieve your dreams.
